Shipping Policy – Seasalt Clothes
Thank you for shopping at Seasalt Clothes (seasaltclothes.com). This Shipping Policy outlines how we handle the delivery of products originally designed by Seasalt Cornwall. Please read it carefully before placing an order. By making a purchase on our website, you agree to the terms below.
Order Processing
Once you place an order on seasaltclothes.com, we begin processing it within a certain number of business days (excluding weekends and public holidays). During busy seasons, such as Christmas or sales events, processing may take slightly longer. You will receive an email confirmation as soon as your order has been accepted and another notification when your order has been dispatched.
Domestic Shipping (United Kingdom & Channel Isles)
We offer several shipping options for customers within the UK and Channel Isles. For standard delivery, orders are sent using a tracked postal service. Once dispatched, you will receive a tracking link via email. You may also have the option to sign up for text message updates from the tracking page.
For customers who need their order sooner, we provide an express delivery option for orders placed before a certain cut-off time (Monday to Thursday). Orders placed after this time or on a Friday will be dispatched the next working day. Please note that express delivery is not available to the Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, or remote parts of Scotland. Items sent from our partner shops are also not eligible for express delivery.
All express orders are sent via a reputable courier and may require a signature upon delivery. If you provide a mobile number, you will receive a text message approximately one hour before your parcel arrives. If you are not home, you can arrange to have the parcel left with a neighbour or reschedule the delivery.
Click & Collect
We offer a free Click & Collect service at all Seasalt Clothes shops (excluding the Republic of Ireland). To use this option, select ‘Collection’ at the delivery stage of checkout and choose your preferred collection point. You will receive an email when your order is ready. Please bring your order number when you collect. Your order will be held for a certain number of days. Note that Click & Collect is not available if you use PayPal Express Checkout.
Collection Points (CollectPlus)
For customers who prefer collection from a local shop or locker, we offer delivery to thousands of collection points across the UK. After you select this option at checkout, your order will be sent to your chosen point. You will receive a collection code by email and text message. Please bring this code and a form of photo ID (such as a passport or driving licence) to collect your parcel. Your order will be held for a certain number of days.
International Shipping
We ship to many destinations worldwide. Before shopping, please use the ‘Ship to’ dropdown on our website (top right of the page on desktop, or in the mobile menu) to select your shipping country. Delivery options and estimated shipping times for your specific country will be displayed at checkout. Please note that delivery may take longer during busy seasons.
We are unable to deliver to BFPO addresses, international PO boxes, Army Post Office addresses, or Fleet Post Office addresses.
Customs, Duties, and Taxes
All international orders are shipped directly from the UK. Your parcel may be subject to import duties, customs fees, and local sales taxes when it reaches your country. These charges are determined by your local customs office and are your responsibility. We have no control over these fees and cannot predict the exact amount. We recommend contacting your local customs office for more information before placing an order. If you refuse to pay these fees and the parcel is returned, any associated costs may be deducted from your refund.
Undeliverable Packages
If a package is returned to us because the address provided was incorrect, incomplete, or because the parcel was unclaimed, we will contact you to arrange reshipment. Additional charges may apply for reshipping. Please double-check your shipping address at checkout.
Lost or Damaged Parcels
If your parcel is lost in transit or arrives damaged, please contact our customer service team immediately. We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue. Proof of damage (such as photos) may be required. We are not liable for parcels that are marked as delivered but later go missing from a safe place or with a neighbour.
